It works pretty good but I'm hoping I can make it better. I've changed the settings in the F4 Seat Adjustment menu to line myself up as close as I can so that the road/railings line up. ETS2 MULTIMON NO EYEFINITY DRIVERIt looks like ATI have removed the ability to change the size and layout of the screens from the driver Radeon RX 570 Gaming 4GB DDR5 PCIe Graphic Card 8K 7680x4320 5xDisplays DVI HDM 3xDP 1255/1244 MHz RGB Windforce 2X Crossfire Eyefinity at. The problem: Because the outside screens are physically smaller, I get a lot of squew at the top and bottom of the displays. To use the three screens in ETS2 I have set ATI Eyefinity to make one screen at 5760 x 1080. The outside screens are setup at 50deg to the main and the bezels are lined up centrally. I'm running 2 x 22" Acer VG220Q's on the outsides and a 27" Acer VG281P in the middle. Check out all of our CES 2013 news, previews and features.I've recently upgraded to a 3rd screen and have a question about how I have it setup. Game Front was on-site at CES 2013 (January 8-11), covering all the latest gaming gadgets. And you can buy them on Monoprice or Amazon for under $10. Is it hard to get excited over new or refreshed display standards? Maybe, but one DisplayPort 1.2 cable can handle 4K video, audio, and charging power for your phone or tablet. And similar to USB, DisplayPort carries power, so the display your MyDP phone is plugged into will keep the battery charged as well. The micro DisplayPort standard uses the same connector as micro USB, allowing properly-equipped phones to pipe out video via the USB charging/data port. So when Panasonic or Sony is showing off a new 4K display, they’re using multiple HDMI cables to handle the video, or bringing content down to 24p.įinally, DisplayPort was also showing off MyDP, which focuses on mobile DP development. Despite all the flashy demos at CES, HDMI in it’s current form cannot handle 4K content at 60 fps (the max is 4K at 24p). ETS2 on 2 monitors also gives a dead corner in the middle which can be annoying, myself I would go for 1 or even better 3 monitors if you can do but not 2 monitors. The DisplayPorters had an Alienware laptop in the booth (pictured above), pumping a 60 Hz 4K stream to four HD displays via one DP cable. ETS2 MULTIMON NO EYEFINITY 1080PThis second pillar is all about pumping Ultra HD video from one PC to one 4K display, or four 1080p displays in a 2×2 formation. Plus, you only need one DisplayPort out on your laptop, which is a simpler solution than even AMD Eyefinity.ĭaisy-chaining also ties into HBR2, or High Bit Rate 2. New 1.2 displays will have both inputs and outputs, making a multi-monitor setup that less messy and cluttered. Similar to daisy-chaining with Thunderbolt devices, DisplayPort 1.2-compatible devices can now string multiple displays along while having only one cable connected to the laptop or desktop of choice. ETS2 MULTIMON NO EYEFINITY UPDATEThe doom update literally broke idle memory clockspeeds, and AMD has still not acknowledged that they broke it. Dual monitor support has been crap ever since Crimson. The big news for DisplayPort out of CES is three-fold, starting with improved support for Multi Stream. AMD pushes Eyefinity, but multimon broken since doom. This HDTV-standard-turned-PC-mainstay is on the verge of being seriously trumped by DisplayPort, however, particularly with the multi-monitor crowd. This is a matter of convneience, as HDMI is ubiquitous in the consumer tech space nowadays. Many of the PC Gaming Master Race have turned to HDMI for pumping pixels from their graphics card of choice to a display or HDTV.
